Shawn, thanks for doing that. I know this is a late reply to this message. I'm in the process of trying to set a new pw. The id and pw you sent me...while I know it's correct...is just not working from this end. I'm going to try and re-set it or just use the goofy one they sent me.

Per John and Roger's request - relayed through Gary - we have moved the fence-posts inward on the sides and back of the pasture to allow for more room for the wood operation. I have left 2 messages for John to check the position of the posts and am awaiting his review before we finish fencing.

I think we should add a calendar category for visitors who may be staying in the Upper Dorm...just like we have for those staying in the Lower Dorm.

Also, the same "conditions" for visiting need to apply to these visitors..such as a $5 nightly fee per person and copy of Driver's licenses.

If you'll create the category and enter the appropriate information for your Upper Dorm visitors, I'd appreciate it. That way, we can keep a more accurate record of "comings and goings".

Please send me a message after you've added the category and entered your visitors' info.

The apartment is available. Please let me know exactly who will be staying prior to their visit.

We've decided on a fee of $5 per person/per night. If you'll simply put a check in the mail to me...or, drop it off if you're in town...within a day or so after your visitors leave, that will be sufficient. Also, even though I'll know who the money is for, it would be helpful if you'll "re-itemize" exactly what the payment is for when you send the money.

RSS stands for really simple syndication. Imagine getting anything written in the forums - either as a whole or by group or topic of interest - delivered to you without having to log in to http://www.meadowcreekinc.com. Kinda like getting a newspaper delivered… full of syndicated content

To access your content, you'll either need to use an RSS reader or a delivery service. Most email clients such as MS Outlook and Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird ARE already RSS readers. However, if you prefer a web based experience (do you use gmail more than any other email client?) you can use your browser as an RSS reader. Check out http://reader.google.com!

Additionally, there are services such as RSFWD at http://www.rssfwd.com that will -redirect those feed right to your existing email account.

I recently repaired the ram pump (again). It appears to want to break at the inlet. Perhaps a bit too much of an angle on the inlet pipe or a little too much vibration/back pressure when pumping. That said, it seems to be working fine although I have not checked to see if the upper tank is filling. I did also think to acquire several pieces and parts to effect the same repairs again, if needed.

I met with John last Sunday (December 1) and we discussed the woodshop and I think we have a workable plan. A lot depends on the removal or rearranging of Alder's stuff. I will remove or rearrange the beekeeping equipment and supplies and assist in the sorting of the junk heap as time permits... lots of firewood there. The woods inside I'll also assist with and create some pretties out of that... again, when time permits.

It would appear that none of the fencing we've put up will interfere with John's plans for a loading dock.

Can't think of anything else right now, but rest assured that if I do, I'll post it here!

Because you're special. You're admin. I set up 2 accounts for me... admin (which doesn't show up) and shawnhoefer (which shows up) so I could test the site from both sides of the fence. I'd be happy to set up a new account for you with 'member' priveleges, but I thought that might be confusing.

uh...Shawn...I'm so bad. What you wrote about rss feeds just would not sink in to my brain. I think I need a real "conversation" about it...so I can do my usual...which is ask 100+ rapid fire questions about it.
